Roots IVY International Schools are the Brain Child of the nationally and internationally award winning and celebrated Educationalist Dr. Khadija Mushtaq (Late) who has been awarded Tamgha e Imtiaz and Yale & MIT Counselor of the year awards.
Roots IVY is synonymous with excellence and caters to the parental population in search of Global education, international collaborations and skills based and holistic education. Roots IVY has a broad and diverse array of qualifications and offerings and has pioneered numerous qualifications in Pakistan such as BTEC Level 3 and International undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.

Roots IVY have marked its rise as a top educational provider in Pakistan with a number of ‘firsts’ which include IB, BTEC, LRN diploma vocational programmes and UK undergraduate programmes. Roots IVY fosters global mindedness by offering classes for French, German and Chinese languages.
Looking back at our origins, Roots was established on 10th April,1988 at 74 Harley Street, Rawalpindi, Pakistan by Mrs Riffat Mushtaq as the first International Montessori School in the twin cities of Rawalpindi/Islamabad. Mrs Riffat Mushtaq’s roots can be traced back to her illustrious Grand Father, Late Khan Mohammad Khan Sahib (MLA) who is commonly known as the “Sir Sayyed of Kashmir”.
With a humble beginning of 50 pupils, Roots IVY has grown by leaps and bounds into an academic institution par excellence. Today, Roots alumni is spread out around the globe and roots is recognized as one of the top international schools of the world for its quality of pupils and high standard of quality education.
