BSc (Hons) Computing course covers in-demand skills including data analysis, cloud-based technologies, object-oriented programming (Java), and website coding and authoring (HTML, CSS). Additionally, the course offers you two career pathways to choose from. Students who want to focus on technical employment opportunities have the chance gain in-depth understanding of data mining/analysis and programming skills. Or, if you decide to opt for a management career in IT, you can study subjects that will give you combined skills in technical know-how and management strategy.
Furthermore, we’ve structured your learning activities so that you’ll have a foundation for ongoing skills development throughout your career, such as understanding programming and coding in a way that will allow you to pick up future developments in technical areas like they’re second nature. This means, whichever path you choose, you’ll graduate with life-long, specialised skills and knowledge that employers in the computing industry value the most. you learn to real-world scenarios, this computing course gives you the skills you need to succeed. What’s more, computing degree course is continually reviewed and updated to keep up the pace with the latest industry trends. This course shares its first stage with Bedfordshire’s other related BSc degrees to give you a foundation in the subject while providing a platform for specialist study in the second and third stages. You will concentrate on essential areas such as systems architecture and security, acquire practical programming, modelling and software development skills before focusing on a chosen specialist area for your final stage project.
We will consider you as an individual and take into account all elements of your application, not just your qualifications. We are looking for breadth and depth in your current studies and enthusiasm for the subject you wish to study.
In order to achieve 16 years of education equivalence from Higher Education Commission Pakistan, it is essential to have completed 12 years of local education (Metric/Intermediate) or 8 O-levels and 3 A-levels. In other instances, you will normally need to have the following one of the following:
The BSc degree is available through a 12 course Standard Route. To complete the programme in as few as three years, students must take the equivalent of four full courses per year.
Assessment methods have been designed to allow you to demonstrate your strengths in a number of ways. Throughout your studies, we’ll keep track of your progress through the following: assignment, essays, presentations, exams, dissertation.
Arden University fee will be directly payable to the university on the given deadline which will be communicated to the student in the Acceptance Letter when the student successfully secures a place in the programme. The fee will be due annually for the duration of the degree.
The programme is taught using face-to-face learning. Students will have access to IVY tools and resources as well as Arden University’s iLearn/VLE to complete their studies/modules. Support will be provided by local and link tutors at IVY and AU.
