At IVY while introducing the study skills and exploratory lab, our primary aim was to empower participants with essential tools for academic success. Through a series of interactive activities, we targeted key areas such as time management, note-taking techniques, critical thinking, and resource utilisation. Participants engaged in hands-on exercises to prioritise tasks effectively, practise diverse note-taking methods, analyse scenarios requiring critical thinking, and explore various study resources.

The results revealed notable improvements in participants’ study skills, indicating the effectiveness of the exploratory learning approach. This lab not only fostered a better understanding of personalised study strategies but also encouraged ongoing development in participants’ academic journey. As we move forward, we anticipate that the insights gained from this study will contribute to the continuous enhancement of study skills methodologies, fostering a culture of proactive learning and academic excellence.
