Admissions Requirement for BSc Business & Management

In order to achieve 16 years of education equivalence from Higher Education Commission Pakistan, it is essential to have completed 12 years of local education (Metric/Intermediate) or 8 O-levels and 3 A-levels. In other instances, you will normally need to have the following for Standard Route:

At least 17 years of age on or before 30th November in the year of initial registration
At least 2 A-level passes in non-overlapping subjects
At least a C grade in English and Mathematics both at O-Levels
Demonstrate English proficiency by providing valid evidence

Course Modules

Admissions open for semesters commencing in January and September of every year. Ensure you allow adequate time for your application to go through the normal admission procedure of two weeks. Visit your nearest campus in time for securing a place in the programme.

Year 1: Level 4

Introduction to Economics Compulsory

Statistics-1 (half course) Compulsory
Principles of Accounting Compulsory
Business and Management in a Global Context Compulsory

Year 2: Level 5

Core Management Concepts Compulsory
Human Resource Management Compulsory
Organisation Theory: An Interdisciplinary Approach Compulsory
Marketing Management Optional

Year 3: Level 6

Management Science Methods Compulsory
One 300 Course from Selection Group M Optional
One 200/300 Course from Selection Group M Optional
One 100/200/300 Course from any of the Selection Groups Optional

Assessments in BSc Business & Management

Aside from a few exceptions, each full course is examined by one three-hour unseen written examination and each half course by one two-hour unseen written examination. The assessment of some courses also involves the submission of coursework or a project.

Mode of Study in BSc Business & Management

The programme is taught using face-to-face learning. Students will have access to IVY resources as well as University of London VLE to complete their studies/modules. Support will be provided by local tutors at IVY.
